YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role it is your responsibility to holistically manage our project department in Norway and assure, our country-wide projects are delivered in time and to our full client´s satisfaction. This includes developing and leading their teams in the safe delivery of projects ensuring sufficient training and development of talent. In addition to that you have the overall responsibility for generating a project sales pipeline to deliver revenue to our FM business by building relationships with our existing clients and supply partners. Last but not least, you need to ensure that all projects are managed to commercial agreements / contracts compliant with statutory regulations, are QHSE compliant and meet technical industry standards.
Your responsibilities in detail:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Ensure safe, timely and on‑budget delivery of projects in line with standards, contracts, and governance requirements
- Manage all project risks (technical, commercial, statutory, and HSE)
- Lead regular project review meetings and ensure compliance with CDM and internal governance
- Recruit, develop and retain talent to support current and future project delivery
- Lead and support the team, including performance and people management
- Promote and uphold company values across the team
- Contribute to the strategic development of the business unit.
- Support internal communication through participation in management meetings, reporting and business updates
- Create case studies and encourage the use of new technologies and innovative approaches
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and shape project opportunities
- Host client visits, lead presentations and support key decision-maker engagements
- Negotiate contracts and resolve commercial issues both upstream and downstream
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, develop and win new project opportunities, building a strong long‑term pipeline
- Lead bid, tender and solution‑presentation processes
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure and grow business
- Accountable for achieving or exceeding the annual sales and financial targets
Financial & Commercial Management
- Drive project profitability through cost control and effective subcontractor management
- Oversee forecasting and the financial performance of the business unit
YOUR PROFILE
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record delivering projects safely in M&E, FM, construction or critical environments
- Experience identifying and developing new project opportunities
- P&L management and team leadership experience
- Skilled in preparing and presenting bids and proposals
- Technical or project management qualifications desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication and numeracy skills
