We are looking for an experienced Data Center Account Manager (m/f/d) for our data center business, who will serve as the liaison between our data center clients and our CBRE team. In this role, you will be responsible not only for the holistic operational and strategic management of our client's data center(s), but also for the sustainable maintenance and development of our client relationships. You will also be responsible for achieving predefined sales targets within our existing customer business, as well as for identifying potential new business opportunities with our key accounts.
Your main responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential data center clients.
- Ensuring holistic data center management, including guaranteeing reliable 24/7 operations at our respective client location(s).
- Taking overall responsibility for all CBRE employees and all services provided by CBRE at the location.
- This also includes full P&L responsibility for a comprehensive budget (maintenance costs, Opex / Capex, subcontractors, employees, etc.).
- You assume all entrepreneurial obligations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations at the location, including occupational safety, environmental protection, quality management, and all social standards.
- Furthermore, you act as the primary contact for our client (whose data center we manage on their behalf) and support them in the continuous development of the location by implementing additional CBRE services.
- Identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions tailored to their DC infrastructure and business goals.
- Driving revenue growth through the sale of data center products and services, including servers, storage, network, and cloud solutions.
- Working closely with internal teams (e.g., technical support, product management) to provide high-quality services and solutions.
- Developing and implementing customer plans to achieve sales and business goals.
- Conducting regular customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Monitoring market trends, competition, and industry developments to always stay one step ahead of customer needs.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction through excellent support and problem-solving.
