CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (CBRE GWS) is a leading global provider of real estate management services, assisting our clients with the operation of their properties, facilities, and critical installations by delivering world-class Facility Management services. CBRE also offers Project Management and advisory services related to the operation, development, and management of properties.

For our CBRE DCS division, which provides operations for locations with critical installations, we are now seeking a Facility Manger who will manage and coordinate the big suppliers in security cleaning, waste and pest control, it will also be the QHSE-representative at the site. The position works closely with and reports to the Critical Facility Manager (CFM) as a part of the management team at site.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The main purpose of the Facility Manager role is to manage big suppliers who deliver services to the facility and being the QHSE representative.

In addition, you will handle a wide range of daily tasks, which may include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring that control routines and other statutory and contractual obligations are met.
  • Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with internal and legal HSE regulations and other procedures. High standards for quality and documentation require detailed planning before work execution and complete documentation afterward.
  • Ensuring efficient and smooth operations while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Acting as a sparring partner by providing suggestions and solutions for the CFM, clients, and employees.
  • Participating in various meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining oversight of all technical operations.

PERSONAL SUITABILITY AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, we believe you have bachelor/master background or have relevant experience that could compensate. You must have broad people skills and be willing to continue learning and developing, as well as sharing your experience. You communicate well at all levels, are structured, and have a keen eye for detail.

Strong IT skills are required, including proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Experience in critical environments such as cooling technology, mechanics, electrical systems, plumbing, or process industry is an advantage. A trade certificate is not an absolute requirement.
