In the position of Critical Facility Manager / Data Center Manager, you will be responsible for the results of the technical management and management activities of a data center in the Brussels area. Together with the team that consists of various specialists (technical), you take care of the daily technical management.
Among other things, you will be involved in drawing up (multi-year) maintenance budgets and periodic management reports. The tendering, management and coordination of maintenance and replacement work, as well as the monitoring of maintenance work obligations, also fall under your tasks and responsibilities. In this position, you will report to the Area General Manager.
As a Critical Facility Manager, you will be responsible for leading, further developing and optimizing maintenance and related processes on your site. This is done in a safe and cost-effective manner, in the short and long term. You will focus on optimizing the work to be carried out on buildings and installations in accordance with contract agreements and implementing 'continuous improvement' in these processes.
- Operational / Technical Responsibility -
In this position, you will monitor the technical part of the contract between CBRE and the client, where you will be responsible for the performance of the technical management in terms of safety, time, costs and quality. Where necessary, you provide local support in the development of asset management, management & maintenance and the necessary competencies in the maintenance teams. In addition, you steer towards the correct management of the technical documents and systems so that compliance is guaranteed. You also have a commercial eye and identify opportunities for CBRE (and, where possible, convert them into new business).
- People Management Responsibility -
As a Critical Facility Manager, you manage a team on site. Where necessary, you provide insights and advice on promotions, training, etc. so that personal development, the development of talent and continuity on the site are guaranteed.
- Financial / Budget Responsibility -
In this position, you will contribute to the development and preparation of the budget and the expected costs. You continuously monitor the current performance versus the budget and give advice on any adjustments.
- Customer Relationship Management -
Further developing the professional relationship with the client and CBRE's local teams is an important aspect of this role. In this way, you inform the right stakeholders about innovations, adjustments, irregularities or deviations in technical management, you provide updates but also advice on the performance of maintenance activities, you draw up reports and join work consultations with local CBRE teams or customers (where necessary).
